| Hello scrappy friends. I’m Kerry Branton Faler and I’m hopelessly addicted to scrapbooking. I’m originally from Shreveport, way up north and love it here on the Northshore. My husband, Scott and I have three crazy children, Molly (7), Katie (5), and Andrew (3) and they are the stars of my scrapbooks. I started scrapbooking when we moved to Macon, GA in 1998 and the first pages I created were of our honeymoon. Once Molly was born, my scrapbooking became my main hobby and I started going to scrapbook retreats. We lived in Alberta, Canada when I attended my first retreat at the LSS, then a bigger one at a hotel. I loved the atmosphere of the big crops and started to only scrapbook at retreats. We moved to Mandeville in 2004 and I started scrapbooking at the LSS with my new friends from church and my addiction really took hold. I started attending ScrapFest! and lo and behold, I am now co-owner of the retreat with my friend Megan. My scrapbooking has also evolved during the years and I not only look at scrapbooking as a hobby, but as art, expression, and as therapy (but I don’t think it’s any cheaper than therapy). My style of scrapbooking is ecclectic and I love testing out the latest techniques and products in the industry. My favorite products to use are paint, ink, ghost letters & shapes, and chipboard.
